Christmas Bytes starts 19 December at The National Museum of Computing

Christmas BytesRobots, music, animations, wearable tech and code-breaking all feature in Christmas Bytes starting on 19 December at The National Museum of Computing on Bletchley Park.

Designed to entertain all the family, the Festival runs 12 noon to 5pm daily from 19-23 and 27-30 December in historic Block H, where computing began.

There are lots of hands-on opportunities with technology new and old and a chance to be creative.

Visitors will be able to see, play with and even program robots. The famous NAO social robot will be there to listen to hear your instructions.

Anyone can create their own animation videos with all the equipment you need on hand.

On each of the Mondays, there will be special Arduino workshops for visitors to build their own devices. Registration is needed (see website).

There will even be the latest in wearable tech and virtual reality with a chance to create a virtual reality headset with a smartphone!

For the musicians, Soundbytes will show you how to create and mix music digitally.
