Dhallywood comes to Calcutta Brasserie

Dhallywood Calcutta BrasserieIndian restaurant Calcutta Brasserie will be bringing the lights, the glamour and the entertainment of Dhallywood to the 17th Century converted chapel on 17 April for a traditional night of festivities.  

As a tribute to the history of Calcutta (Kolkata), when it was part of Bangladesh, the team are putting on a spectacle in celebration of its heritage for customers to enjoy.

The Dhallywood themed night – well known for its colourful and flamboyant entertainment in Bangladesh -  is being hailed as a unique evening of traditional food and entertainment.

Restaurant Manager at Calcutta Brasserie, Ali Ajmol, said: “We are very excited to be bringing something different to the restaurant, our customers will get to experience the traditional Bangladeshi recipes that our families cooked and also some fun entertainment with dancing and singing it’s going to be a fantastic evening”

The show starts at 7pm and tickets cost £19.95 including a three course meal.
