Banana Tree in Milton KeynesIndochinese restaurant Banana Tree has announced that it will open its newest venue at The Hub in Milton Keynes in July.

They will bring their delicious Indochina street style food from the lemongrass growing countries of South East Asia right into the heart of the city.

Banana Tree’s delicious indochinese menu was the creation of founder and head chef, William Chow. William gave up his architectural career to embark of his food journey twenty years ago, starting with a 36 seater oriental eatery in Maida Vale, and organically growing to a total of 7 restaurants in and around London.

Today, they have announced the arrival of their newest restaurant at The Hub, Milton Keynes. Planning to open early July 2014, Banana Tree looks forward to providing The Hub’s guests with an exciting casual dining experience that is truly different from other Milton Keynes restaurants.

Milton Keynes will be the largest Banana Tree venue to date, with a beautiful restaurant as well as a fully licensed bar, serving our unique and delicious Indochina-inspired cocktails. There will be a host of different unique dining areas, suitable for couples as well as groups or corporate bookings. Relaxed, buzzing and full of laughter, we want our restaurant to be a place where our guests can enjoy our food, drinks and design and most importantly themselves on their night out or for an informal lunch.

Indochina a region in South East Asia that lies roughly east of India and south of China. It comprises of Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, common ingredients such as lemongrass, coconut, galangal, Thai basil and coriander in their cooking. These common ingredients allowed William Chow to design a revolutionary menu that offers homemade dishes such as Vietnamese Monks’ Spring Rolls and The Legendary Rendang on the same dining table as our Lemongrass and Turmeric Stir Fry or our Tamarind Crispy Fish with Thai Basil Glaze.

“We are very pleased to be bringing Banana Tree to Milton Keynes,” says William Chow. “We chose Milton Keynes and the Hub for its dynamic neighbourhood and buzzing night life. Banana Tree prides itself on bringing healthy, authentic and delicious dishes from the Indochina region of South East Asia as well as innovative drinks and cocktails, with a warm and friendly service. We can’t wait to open our doors and showcase what we do to the residents of Milton Keynes.”
