Date Posted:28/06/2018

Simon BrodkinThe final show for the Comedy Cow, before they disappear of on their summer hols, will be at the Red Dot Bar on 20th July, and they have a fantastic line-up of comedians guaranteed to put a smile on your face that’ll stay there until they return in September.

Promoter Ben Robinson said, “We’ve been working really hard this year to bring some of the best comedians on the circuit to our nights at The Red Dot, The Crown in Stony Stratford and our gala night at Walton High, but I’m really excited for this show.  It promises to be a really special one.”

Opening the night at Stadium: MK is the hilarious Simon Brodkin, who is most well known as his alter ego, Lee Nelson, having become a household name on BBC’s Live at The Apollo and Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show. In recent years Brodkin has been making news with his headline grabbing pranks targeting, targeting some of the biggest names on the world stage including Simon Cowell, FIFA President Sepp Blatter, US President Donald Trump, and possibly most famously, offering Teresa May her P45 at the Conservative Party Conference.

Joining him will be support in the middle section from up and coming acts Patrick Spicer and Edy Hurst and the host for the evening is Meryl O’Rourke.
If that wasn’t good enough, headlining the night is funny man Markus Birdman in one of his final appearances before heading North for August to the Edinburgh Festival, where he’ll be hoping to repeat his success from 2015 where he was nominated for ‘Best Show’.

And if this one has tickled your funny bone, then you can check out The Comedy Cow website, for details of their Autumn shows, with Paul Tonkinson, Mark Dolan, Jo Caulfied, Richard Herring and BGT Winner Lost Voice Guy among the stars that they look forward to welcoming to MK from September up until Christmas.
