Date Posted:08/03/2016

National Apprenticeship ShowThousands of apprenticeship opportunities will be showcased by more than 100 of the country’s leading employers at the first ever National Apprenticeship Show to be held on the 14-15 March at the impressive Arena MK. This truly unique event will bring thousands of young people face-to-face with the massive range of opportunities offered by these foremost employers who will be available to discuss, in person, career paths with parents, teachers, carers and young people.

Apprenticeships offer an extremely positive alternative to college or university education as they can harness an individual’s skills from an early age and provide a very clear and structured development path into employment and management in favoured industries and business sectors.

On behalf of the events main sponsors, Pam Gosal, Head of Corporate Economic Development & Inward Investment at Milton Keynes Council commented “We are delighted to host the first ever National Apprenticeship Show here in Milton Keynes. Ensuring that we provide our future workforce with inspiring careers guidance and advice is essential to our continued growth and prosperity and is one of the key priorities in the Milton Keynes Skills Strategy. The National Apprenticeship Show not only provides an excellent forum for employers and providers to showcase apprenticeship opportunities but provides an incredible opportunity for young people, parents and carers to experience for themselves exactly what an apprenticeship is all about”.

“If you are thinking of your future career choices and apprenticeships from lower to degree level are something you have never considered, then get along to the show that I wholly support and believe to be the best upcoming show for people like you….”

The National Apprenticeship Show is all about interaction between exhibitor and visitors with many have-a-go stands where you can try out numerous tasks from Electrical Installation & Engineering, Finance & Accountancy challenges, Landscaping & Construction and just about anything else you can imagine.
