Festive Road are taking Giant Steps again this year as they lead their colourful street parade of live music, stilt walkers, dance, and amazing giant puppets and theatrical sculptures through the streets of central Milton Keynes.

Joining the Giants will be a handmade bicycle powered life size wooden WW1 Tank from Festive Road  and banners celebrating WW1 organised by the Westbury Arts Centre,  the Northants Hindu Associations Harminder the Elephant accompanied by the MK DOHL Players, the amazing LOBO TREN Wolverton  Street Band and fresh from Wiltshires 800 year Magna Carta birthday celebrations the Giant Queen herself.  The parade will also see the fantastic productions made by local school children and community groups funded by MK Community Foundation, The Arts Council England and others in the run up to the parade.

Starting at 1.30pm by the Hub on Midsummers Boulevard the procession will walk through Midsummer place and back up Midsummer Boulevard all the way to a spectacular finish at Campbell Park where you, your family and friends can enjoy a performance by Westbury Arts Centre ‘For the Fallen’ a dance performance commemorating the events and the people of world war one along with the Festive Road WW1 “Best Company Show” Tank

An arts and crafts market and refreshments will be available at the Campbell park finish.
