Winter Bird Walk
Saturday 3 February    8am to 11am
A walk led by our team of expert Volunteers in the Millennium Country Park.  See stonechats, fieldfares, redwings and maybe – if it’s cold enough – a bittern or a smew. Dress for the weather and wear waterproof shoes or boots - sorry no dogs allowed.

Public Tree Planting
4 February    11am to 3pm
We're back at Waypost Wood, Cranfield for another public tree planting event!
Free shuttle buses run from/to the Forest Centre throughout the day and refreshments are available on site.
Please do not drive to Waypost Wood as there is no parking – either walk or cycle up, if you live in Cranfield, or get the shuttle bus from the Forest Centre.
It’s completely free – we provide tools and training. Wear appropriate footwear as it could be muddy!

Learning Lunchtime Talk - Wildlife & Landscapes of East Anglia
Monday 5 February   11am to Midday
Local photographer and Friend of the Forest Barrie Mason returns to talk about the stunning scenery and variety of wildlife in the East Anglia area.
Approx. 1 hour, with time for questions.
Free, but, as there is a cost involved in putting on these events, donations to the Forest of Marston Vale are much appreciated.

Secret Snow Cabin
Tuesday 13 February    9.15am to 2pm
Wrap up warm to go on an outdoor adventure to the Secret Snow Cabin!
Find out about some winter wildlife then enjoy some storytelling in the cosy cabin with a hot drink and biscuit. Wear waterproof boots and warm coat.
Sessions last approx. 1hr 15 mins and are at 9.45am, 11.30am and 1.45pm and cost £4.50 per child. Booking and parental supervision essential.

Fox Faces
Thursday 15 February    10am to 3pm
Find out about fox folklore and stories then make a marvellous mask to turn yourself into a fox or fantasy creature. We’ll be using card and tissue to create 3D masks.

Wedding Fair
Thursday 22 February    6.30pm to 9pm
Enjoy a glass of bubbly with our wedding team while you discover what  the Forest Centre has to offer for your special day.
You’ll be able to see rooms dressed for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and meet some fabulous local suppliers. There’s even a goodie bag for couples who pre-register

‘Eric the Bald and Jocelyn the Breton:  The Domesday Book in Bedfordshire’
The arrival of the Norman elite in 1066 changed the land distribution and land use throughout England and in Bedfordshire we can gain an insight into this period through the Domesday Book. Brian Webb looks at existing Norman sites to unravel the important changes in land ownership and use and their influence on our modern countryside.

George Michael Tribute
Thursday 30 March    8pm to 11pm
Dubbed as 'the best soundalike you'll ever hear' by George's own manager, Joseph is the real deal!  Singing songs from throughout George's career, from Wham! all the way through to the later classics, this show is perfect for any George fan.
